Spurs blame security breach for Liverpool taunts
Tottenham have apologised after being forced to delete a tweet mocking Liverpool's title capitulation on their official club account after Monday's draw.
A video poking fun at a disastrous collapse from Liverpool in their last two games, featuring footage of Steven Gerrard slipping over in Chelsea's 2-0 win at Anfield, was accompanied by the message 'Brutal but very funny. The biggest capitulation since Newcastle in the 90s.'
The tweet, believed to be intended for a personal account, stayed online for eight minutes before it was removed with Spurs blaming a 'security issue', having sparked fury from Liverpool fans.

— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) May 5, 2014Liverpool had been in control of their own destiny before losing 2-0 to Chelsea last month and then further dented their title chances on Monday night by letting a 3-0 lead against Crystal Palace evaporate in the closing stages, eventually drawing 3-3.
Liverpool beat Tottenham a combined 9-0 in their two matches this season, 5-0 at White Hart Lane in December and 4-0 at Anfield in March.
Manchester City will now win the Premier League with victories in their final two matches, at home against Aston Villa on Wednesday night and West Ham on Sunday. A win and a draw from those matches would also be enough given City's superior goal difference.
