Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj has been selected in Belgium coach's Marc Wilmots World Cup squad, just three weeks after the teenager chose to play for the country's national team.

The 19-year-old Januzaj was born in Brussels with Balkan heritage and has played for United since 2011. He was able to pick from several nations for international duty, including Albania and Kosovo.

Wilmots announced a 24-man team, but said the number of goalkeepers would be reduced from four to three based on the availability of Koen Casteels.

Januzaj joins 10 other players in the squad currently plying their trade in England - Simon Mignolet (Liverpool), Vincent Kompany (Manchester City), Thomas Vermaelen (Arsenal), Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham), Marouane Fellaini (Manchester United), Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea, on loan at Everton), Moussa Dembele (Fulham), Eden Hazard (Chelsea) and Kevin Mirallas (Everton). Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois - who has spent the season on-loan at Atletico Madrid - is also in the squad.

Belgium will face Russia, South Korea and Algeria in the World Cup's group stage.
