Shaw 'gutted' by Academy coach exits

Luke Shaw admits he has been left "gutted" by Southampton's decision to sack the Academy coaching duo who helped him rise through the ranks at the club.
Southampton let go of under-18 coaches Jason Dodd and Paul Williams on Tuesday morning with employees at the club's Academy left shocked, according to the Guardian.
It is a sentiment shared by 18-year-old left-back Shaw, who is heading to the World Cup with England after an outstanding season that has seen Manchester United lodge a £25 million bid for his services.
Gutted for doddsy and Willo, helped me a lot in my development over the years, wish them all the best in their carers

Southampton's first team has benefited greatly this season from the work done by their Academy, with Adam Lallana and James Ward-Prowse also shining for the club this season.
Both Dodd and Williams played for the club, too, the former making over 400 appearances.
Their dismissals are thought to be unrelated to the future of manager Mauricio Pochettino, who is being targeted by Tottenham as a replacement for the sacked Tim Sherwood.
