Costa and Ronaldo win fitness race
Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo and Atletico Madrid's Diego Costa have overcome recent injury problems and will start in Saturday's Champions League final.
Costa was a major doubt for the Lisbon showpiece having been diagnosed with a grade 1 hamstring tear last Monday, but having undergone a "miracle" horse-placenta treatment in Belgrade this week, the Atletico top scorer surprisingly took some part in team training on his return to Madrid on Thursday.
Meanwhile Ronaldo - who has not played since substituting himself with a thigh muscle problem just eight minutes into Madrid's 1-1 draw at Valladolid on May 7 - also returned to group training for the first time this week at his club's session on Thursday at Valdebebas, although AS reports that he only took part in a limited role for precautionary reasons.
