Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has says he is not looking to leave the Premier League club this summer.

Tottenham are currently without a manager after Tim Sherwood parted company with the side following their sixth-place finish.

A mixed 2013-14 campaign has led to speculation about players' futures at White Hart Lane, including Vertonghen, who admitted in February he would consider his future should the club fail to qualify for the Champions League.

But the Belgium international, who signed for Spurs from Ajax in 2012, has insisted he is happy at the club, regardless of who takes over, with Ajax boss Frank de Boer strongly linked with the post.

"I've got a couple more years at Tottenham and I'm happy, and I want to stay there, so it doesn't matter who the manager will be," Vertonghen said.

"He [de Boer] is a good manager but there are other good managers as well so, again, the chairman will make a good decision."
