Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has spoken to his Spain team-mates about what life is like playing for Atletico Madrid.

Cazorla joined Arsenal for £15 million from Malaga two years ago but he has been linked with a move to Atletico this summer and suggested to AS that he might consider a move after the World Cup.

He said: "Everyone tells me [Atletico] is a good club, Koke and Juanfran are there as well [as David Villa]. But I do not know anything. Until after the World Cup I do not want to know."

Atletico are looking to add to their midfield after the contracts of Diego Ribas and Chelsea target Tiago Mendes expired, while Christian Rodriguez and Barcelona target Koke could also leave during the transfer window.

Diego Simeone is said to be a big fan of Cazorla, who ended the season as one of Arsenal's most influential players; his outstanding free-kick during their FA Cup final victory at Wembley helped the club end a nine-year trophy drought.

Cazorla recently called for Arsenal to up their efforts to re-sign Cesc Fabregas but the former Barcelona midfielder has since joined Chelsea.

"Until the end of the World Cup I do not want to think about that," Cazorla said of a possible move. "I have told my agents not to tell me anything, to avoid all the speculation."
