Diego Costa scored on his Chelsea debut as Jose Mourinho's side came from behind to win 2-1 against Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia.

Nik Kapun put Olimpija 1-0 up before the break but Chelsea were rescued in the second half as new signings Cesc Fabregas and Costa combined for the equaliser, Fabregas sending a pass through the defence that Costa burst on to and blasted in at the keeper's near post.

Just a few minutes later, another summer signing, centre-back Kurt Zouma, netted the winner.

Branislav Ivanovic thought he had extended Chelsea's lead, but it was ruled out by the referee and Fernando Torres even had time to chest over the bar from just a few yards out as the Premier League side continued their preparations for the new season.

The victory was the first of Chelsea's tour after they endured a disappointing draw against Wolfsberger AC last Wednesday. They are next in action on July 30 against Vitesse Arnhem.
