Middlesbrough have completed the signing of striker Kris Boyd on a free transfer.
Boyd has been a free-scoring figure for Rangers in the SPL, but his deal with the Scottish champions wound down.
The 26-year-old was linked with Premier League sides Birmingham City and Newcastle, but has pitched up in the second tier of English football with Boro.
The forward has penned a two-year contract after passing a medical and Gordon Strachan will be keen to see Boyd show the form that brought 101 league goals for Rangers.
