Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Sami Khedira as Carlo Ancelotti insists the midfielder will not be leaving the club this summer.

The German World Cup winner has been heavily linked with a £24 million move to Arsenal.

However, there are concerns over Khedira's wage demands with the 27 year old reportedly demanding £150,000 a week, which would make him the top earner at the club ahead of fellow German Mesut Ozil on £140,000 a week.

"He's not leaving," Madrid boss Ancelotti said ahead of their UEFA Super Cup clash with Sevilla on Tuesday night.

"He's a Real Madrid player. He has a contract until June 30, 2015 and that's all there is to say."

Khedira has also been linked with a move to Chelsea to reunite with former Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, and reports in Spain suggest Mourinho has told Khedira that he will bring him to Stamford Bridge on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.
