Sanogo starts for Arsenal against Palace
Yaya Sanogo starts for Arsenal in their Premier League opener against Crystal Palace with Olivier Giroud on the bench.
The striker, who scored four goals in Arsenal's 5-1 pre-season friendly win against Benfica, leads the line at the Emirates Stadium with £35 million summer signing Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla either side of him.
Fellow summer captures Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers are also included in Arsene Wenger's backline.
Palace caretaker manager Keith Millen, who takes charge against Arsenal following Tony Pulis' shock departure on Thursday, includes new signing Martin Kelly at right-back following his switch from Liverpool earlier this week.
Summer signings Brede Hangeland and Fraizer Campbell also start for the visitors.
