Suarez talking to experts about his behaviour

Luis Suarez has revealed he has spoken to professionals to ensure there will be no repeat of the biting incident involving Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.

The Uruguay forward is still serving the four month ban imposed by FIFA for the incident which took place at the World Cup last June. However, a more recent Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruling means he can now train with his new team-mates and take part in official club events as he featured in the 6-0 friendly victory over Leon on Monday.

Suarez joined Barcelona from Liverpool and will not be able to make his competitive debut until October 26, the date for the first El Clasico of the season against arch-rivals Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, a day after his suspension comes to an end.

On Tuesday, Suarez was speaking to the world's media for the first time since signing for the Catalan club, and was questioned about the biting incident.

"It's a personal matter which I would rather not discuss, but I have been speaking with professionals [to make sure there will be no more biting incidents]," Suarez said, who was offered anger management counselling after biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic in April 2012.

"I say to fans, don't worry, because I won't do that [bite] anymore.

"My psychologist told me to get out and offer my apologies and I did that. I now want to move on and focus on football."

Suarez also admitted he was worried about how his career would pan out after receiving the ban.

"Of course I was concerned after the Chiellini incident and not just about my transfer to Barcelona, but also about my reputation as a person. But that's in the past now."

Suarez said he always dreamed of playing at the Nou Camp. "I want to thank the club and all of the directors for the confidence they have had in me, and of course the coach Luis Enrique and all of the people who have supported me," he said.

"I am looking forward to enjoying myself here and enjoying the group dynamic. I've been wanting to play for Barcelona for years and it's a dream come true to be here.

"I have been dreaming of playing for Barcelona for years. All the little boys want to achieve this. I didn't think it would ever happen, so I didn't think twice when the chance came up."
