Blind not waiting on United, says agent
Daley Blind is not waiting around for Manchester United to call, according to his agent.
Louis van Gaal is reportedly keen on signing Ajax utility man Blind, who starred for his Netherlands side at the World Cup.
United are set to take their summer spending to around the £130 million mark with the imminent capture of Angel Di Maria, but Blind's representative Rob Jansen says United are yet to bid for his client.
"At this moment Manchester United have not been in touch with me or Ajax about Daley and I'm not sitting here waiting for the call,'' Jansen told talkSPORT on Tuesday.
Blind - the son of former Netherlands international Danny Blind, who worked as Van Gaal's assistant in Brazil this summer - can operate at left-back or in central midfield, an area where United are in desperate need of reinforcements.
Sources in England and Italy have told ESPN that United will turn their attention to finally signing Arturo Vidal from Juventus despite initial reservations about the state of the midfielder's right knee.
