Tottenham sign Sevilla defender Fazio
Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Sevilla defender Federico Fazio on a four-year contract.
Spurs announced the sale of centre-back Michael Dawson to Hull City on Tuesday and they have wasted no time in bringing in a replacement.
ESPN FC reported on Tuesday that the deal was imminent and, according to reports, Tottenham were willing to pay Sevilla's £8 million release clause to sign Fazio, who has penned a contract until 2018.

"I came to Tottenham because I think it's a very good team, a very good club with very good fans."
The 27-year-old joined Sevilla in 2007 from Argentine side Ferro Carril Oeste and went on to win the Copa del Rey and the Europa League with the club.
Fazio, who has gained two caps for Argentina, was part his nation's under-20 World Cup-winning side in 2007, while he also won Olympic gold in 2008.
