Courtois signs new five-year deal with Chelsea

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has put pen to paper on a new five-year contract with Chelsea.
Having replaced Petr Cech as the club's first-choice in goal this season, Courtois now cements his place at Stamford Bridge after three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid.
Courtois told the club's official website: ""I'm very happy with this new deal. It's really nice to have signed this new contract for five years.
"My future was already sorted but it's nice to know I'm going to be here for another five years and now I can just concentrate on playing games."
Courtois had intimated while on international duty with Belgium that he was close to signing the contract.
He has started all three of Chelsea's league games this season, though has kept a clean sheet in just one match - at home to Leicester City - and conceded three in his last outing, a 6-3 victory over Everton at Goodison Park.
