Markovic pleads for patience from Liverpool

Liverpool new-boy Lazar Markovic insists he will make his mark in Brendan Rodgers' side despite a difficult first few weeks at Anfield.
Markovic arrived from Benfica in July in a deal worth a reported £20 million confident of helping Liverpool win the Premier League title in his first season at the club.

His less-than-dynamic displays in the first seven games of the season and the team's early struggles have cast doubt on that ambition but the Serbian winger is unfazed.
"You know how things go in football, I'm getting there and adjusting well," he is quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror. "It will take a little more time, but, all in all, I feel okay.
"I feel great there and everybody has been great with me. I could not wish for more. I'm happy and that is the most important thing.
"My team-mate is the legendary Steven Gerrard, the fans love me and Anfield is great. But, as I said, I just need a little bit more time."
Markovic is currently with the Serbian national team preparing for Euro 2016 qualifiers against Armenia and Albania.
