Sterling and Balotelli start for Liverpool

Raheem Sterling starts for Liverpool against Queens Park Rangers a week after telling England manager Roy Hodgson he was too tired to play for the national team in the Euro 2016 qualifier against Estonia.

Mario Balotelli also starts, having been benched for the game against West Brom a fortnight ago. Emre Can earns his first start since signing for the club.

Under-pressure Harry Redknapp has dropped Rio Ferdinand, with Richard Dunne coming in. Goalkeeper Rob Green has been sidelined by tonsillitis.
