Ferdinand 'baffled' by tweet ban

QPR defender Rio Ferdinand appears to have responded to the three-match ban handed to him by the FA, by claiming he is "baffled."
Ferdinand was banned by football's governing body on Tuesday for posting an offensive tweet on Twitter. He was also fined £25,000 and "severely warned" as to his future conduct.
Is humour even allowed....I'm baffled! Ludicrous.... & I don't mean the rapper.

Ferdinand's team-mate Joey Barton then got in on the act by suggesting the FA had set a "dangerous precedent" with its punishment.
3 games and £25k for a tweet? Come on.

Can I say 'wet wipe' without getting a 83 game ban or a £14,000,000 fine?

Can someone from the @FA send me a list of offensive, ban incurring words that I can't use online and the requisite bans attached to each.

With QPR sitting 19th in the Premier League table, the ban sees Ferdinand sit out crunch clashes against Chelsea and Manchester City, as well as the away tie to Newcastle. He has also been told to attend an education programme held by the FA.
Barton gave Ferdinand words of support via the site, adding: "I have said way worse I am sure. Don't understand how you can be banned from football. It's nothing to do with it."
Harry Redknapp has also shown his support for Ferdinand.
