Sergio Aguero believes Manchester City have to win all three of their remaining Champions League group games to qualify for the last 16.

Premier League champions City are yet to win in Europe this season and have only taken two points from their first three games.

They host CSKA Moscow on Wednesday, before a home game against Bayern Munich and a trip to Roma's Stadio Olimpico and top scorer Aguero thinks there is no margin for error now.

"I think Moscow is the most important game because we have to win," Aguero told City's official website. "We have to get the three points and then do the same in the last two remaining games."

Aguero scored the only goal of the 168th Manchester derby on Sunday and he added: "I always say that goals are great when they mean victories. It was a great goal after a great play."

The win means City are six points behind league leaders Chelsea but Aguero is confident that Jose Mourinho's team, who have taken 26 points from their first 10 games, cannot keep up such a pace.

He said: "Chelsea are doing very well and they keep winning but we have to go and I am sure they will drop points. They play at Liverpool next weekend and we will see if they drop points."

Aguero's goal on Sunday was his 10th of the league campaign, meaning he has taken over from Chelsea's Diego Costa as the division's top scorer.

But he deflected talk of winning the Golden Boot, saying: "There is a long way to go. It's important to continue like that [win] and it is important that all the goals mean we win games."
