Wenger: Managing France would be a waste of time
Arsene Wenger has revealed he has turned down the chance to become France coach "several times" and called the job "a little bit of a waste of time".
Wenger, 65, has been in charge of Arsenal since 1996, transforming himself from a virtual unknown outside his native country into one of world football's most recognised and respected figures.

His name has been linked with the France job on several occasions, most notably when Raymond Domenech and Laurent Blanc left the role in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
However, the Alsace-born tactician told BeIN SPORTS he has little interest in swapping the day-to-day work of club football for the bursts of activity required on the international scene.
"I have had the opportunity to be France coach several times. As the France coach, there are only two interesting things: the World Cup and the Euros. The rest is a little bit of a waste of time."
