Brendan Rodgers: Aggression can save Liverpool's season
Brendan Rodgers says Liverpool must become more aggressive to salvage a season in danger of falling apart after four successive defeats.
Liverpool slipped to 12th in the Premier League after losing 3-1 at Crystal Palace on Sunday, leading Rodgers to admit that he was not safe from the sack, despite having signed a four-year contract in the summer after guiding the club to second place last season
Sources have told ESPN that Rodgers' job is safe, as Fenway Sports Group, the club's American owners, have no plans to review his position.

But Rodgers is aware results have to improve with Liverpool in danger of Champions League elimination at the group stage as they travel to Bulgaria to face Ludogorets on Wednesday, having only kept two clean sheets in 18 matches this season.
"We need to be more tenacious, more aggressive and have a greater capacity to defend better as a team," Rodgers told Liverpool's website.
"When there are moments to defend, you have to defend better - and that's something that we'll look to do."
Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has faced criticism for his performances this season, but he says he can help turn Liverpool's campaign around.
He told the Liverpool Echo: "I look at the games and I'm my biggest critic.
"Together with the goalkeeping coach [John Achterberg] we look at the games and we analyse everything the day after a game together.
"We look at every little detail. We look at some things that people wouldn't even think a goalkeeper was featuring in at that moment, like a cross that goes out of play or a throw that is 50 yards from goal. We'll look at my positioning.
"There's no point looking or worrying about what anyone else is saying or analysing because we're doing everything we can to make sure we improve.
"We all have to make sure we do our best and the performances will come."
