Thierry Henry wants to help Arsenal win Champions League

Thierry Henry says he would love to help Arsenal win the Champions League when he finally hangs up his boots as a player.
Henry, who is currently trying to lead the New York Red Bulls to the MLS final, won two Premier League trophies during an eight-season spell at Arsenal from 1999-2007, before returning on a short-term loan in January 2012.

There has been speculation that this season could be Henry's swansong, bringing down the curtain on an illustrious career that has also seen the 37-year-old claim World Cup and European Championship winner's medals.
Henry admitted his future as a player is uncertain as the Red Bulls attempt to overturn a 2-1 deficit when they face New England Revolution in Saturday's Eastern Conference final second leg.
"Nothing is clear, I still haven't taken a decision and it's not my thing to speculate," Henry said. "One thing is certain: I am going to stay in football, to coach, as a pundit, official, we'll see."
"Another thing is certain: I would like to see Arsenal win the Champions League. Whether I see that from afar or up close is not up to me, but it's sure that I would like to help, because it's my club and as a player I wasn't able to bring them the Champions League.
Henry scored a club-record 228 goals while at Arsenal, with the Champions League the only major trophy to elude him in North London, where he plans to return once his spell in New York is over.
"I'm at home in England," Henry said. "My 'Home Sweet Home' is London. My club is Arsenal. When I left the club, a little part of me died. I cried, and that doesn't happen to me often, even when I was a child."
Henry is immortalised with a statue outside Arsenal's Emirates stadium, an honour the humble striker feels he does not deserve.
"Statues are for heroes, and I'm not one. I have saved no-one's life, I just kicked a ball."
