Almunia has nothing to prove

Manuel Almunia insists he is not concerned about his Arsenal future amid rumours that Arsene Wenger will sign another goalkeeper before the end of the transfer window.
Fulham stopper Mark Schwarzer is believed to be Wenger's principal target, but Almunia, who took over the No. 1 jersey from Jens Lehman in 2008, is in no hurry to relinquish his place in the team.
A number of unconvincing performances between the posts saw him come under pressure from second keeper Lukasz Fabianski last season, but despite being linked with a move back to Spain, Almunia is adamant his future is at Arsenal.
"I don't need to convince anybody - I just do my job," he said in the Guardian. "I have a couple more years on my contract and that's it, I'm an Arsenal player."
