Arsenal are after me, says Saint-Etienne defender Perrin

Saint-Etienne defender Loic Perrin has told a French newspaper that he has been approached by Arsenal about a move to the Emirates.
Perrin, 29, has reportedly been targeted by Arsene Wenger to bolster Arsenal's back four after an impressive first half of the season in Ligue 1.

Following Saint-Etienne's Coupe de France win over Nancy on Sunday, the ever-reliable centre-back, who can also play in midfield, confirmed to Le Progres that Arsenal had contacted him with regard to a potential January switch.
However, the paper said Perrin told them "that the British bosses had not, as far as he knew, contacted their Saint-Etienne counterparts".
Saint-Etienne-born Perrin, who made his professional debut with his hometown club in 2003 and has made 235 top-flight appearances for them, was one of seven reserves named by Didier Deschamps for France's 2014 World Cup squad, and was an unused substitute in his country's 1-0 friendly win over Sweden in November.
