Chelsea interested in Fiorentina's Juan Cuadrado

Chelsea are monitoring Fiorentina's Juan Cuadrado for a potential January move, sources have told ESPN, although any transfer probably remains dependent on the departure of either Andre Schurrle or Mohamed Salah.
Stamford Bridge manager Jose Mourinho on Friday hinted at the possibility of transfers, having previously ruled them out.
Marko Marin departs
- Chelsea winger Marko Marin has joined Anderlecht on loan until the end of the season.
- The Belgian club announced the deal on their official website.
- General manager Herman Van Holsbeeck said: "Anderlecht goes for quality and not quantity. The arrival of Marko Marin is a win-win situation for both parties.
- "Here he can play at the highest level and purple and white help to achieve its ambitions."
- German international Marin added: "I'm glad I can give my career a new impetus in this professional environment. Anderlecht is still a big name in Europe and I'm going to do everything to help this great club even more prizes."
"I will be happy if nobody leaves or comes this month but the market is open and you never know," Mourinho said. "I do not want to lie to you."
The Portuguese coach went further on Saturday, admitting that Salah could at least leave on loan - but pointedly said he would only allow it if the club allowed him to buy.
"For Salah to leave, someone has to come, and I don't think we are going to let Salah go on loan and then spend some money to bring somebody else in," he said.
"So I don't think so, unless my club comes to me and says Salah goes on loan and we are going to buy a £50 million player."
Serie A club Roma are known to be interested in Salah on loan, although sources state there is a sticking point whether any deal would include an option or obligation to buy for the Italian club.
Any move would likely see Chelsea return to Italy in a move for 26-year-old Cuadrado, although Fiorentina's demands may require other sales due to financial fair play regulations.
The exit of Schurrle remains a possibility, with reports linking him with a Bundesliga return to either former club Bayer Leverkusen or Wolfsburg.
For his part, Cuadrado is known to feel it is time to move to a higher level, having been pursued by both Manchester United and Barcelona last summer after his fine performances for Colombia in the World Cup.
Chelsea also retain a long-term interest in Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus, but it is widely believed he will end up at Real Madrid.
