Marcotti: Cuadrado one of the best

Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado said his main focus is winning the Premier League title after he completed his move from Fiorentina on the final day of the transfer window.

Cuadrado, 26, sealed his switch to Stamford Bridge on Monday after Wolfsburg finally agreed a fee to sign Andre Schurrle from Chelsea just before the deadline in Germany.

The Colombia international, who had been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer, suggested Chelsea were capable of challenging for the Champions League but said his primary aim now is to ensure his new team - currently five points clear at the top of the league - go on to win the title.

"We are a big club, so winning important things," he told Chelsea's official website when asked about his targets. "Playing for this team, the league championship is I think the most important thing. As for everything else, Chelsea have big players so we want to win big things."

He said it was a "dream" to play for a club of Chelsea's stature and added: "For me that is a huge motivation to perform well."

He is also relishing the chance to work under Jose Mourinho: "It is really going to be brilliant to work with one of the best coaches anywhere in the world.

"I'm very proud to be playing for him and I think he is going to help me grow into a better player."

Asked about his playing style, he said: "I'm a quick and positive player and I hope to show that on the field of play and help all of my teammates."

Chelsea midfielder Oscar welcomed Cuadrado to the club on Twitter, saying: "Welcome to the biggest club in the world."
