I love playing where football was invented, says Sanchez
Alexis Sanchez says he is loving playing for Arsenal in the Premier League.
Sanchez, 26, moved to Arsenal from Barcelona last summer for a fee of £35 million. And although he has not been at his best in recent games, the Chile international has taken to life in England quickly having scored 19 goals for Arsenal this season.
"I'm well adapted to the country and the league now. I must keep on learning, though," Sanchez is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
"I want to expand my knowledge of English football in general, and Arsenal and my team-mates in particular.
"But overall, I love this league. At the end of the day, football was invented in this country, right? I live where football was invented. That makes me really happy."
