Arsenal to face Newcastle

After defeating bitter rivals Tottenham 4-1 in midweek, Arsenal have been drawn to face Newcastle in the fourth round of the Carling Cup.
The Magpies were in the hat thanks to a brilliant 4-3 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and must now face another premier opponent from London. Manchester United, who beat Aston Villa to take the trophy last season, face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford but Northampton Town, who sensationally knocked out Liverpool at Anfield, have been denied a glamour tie and will face Ipswich Town.
With Arsenal facing Newcastle, Aston Villa may feel that the draw is opening up for them and Gerard Houllier's side will be expected to win at home to Burnley, who defeated Premier League opposition in Bolton in the third round.
Birmingham, West Brom and Wigan face lower league opposition in Brentford, Leicester and Swansea respectively, while an all-Premier League encounter pits West Ham against Stoke City.
