Kuyt fearful over ankle injury

Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt fears he will be sidelined for a considerable period of time after damaging an ankle on international duty.
Kuyt was taken from the ground in an ambulance after landing awkwardly during Netherlands' 4-1 win over Sweden on Tuesday.
The forward says it will take a few days for the swelling to subside to enable a scan to be taken, but he is far from positive about the outcome.
"The swelling is so bad it will take three to four days to be sure, but I fear the worst," Kuyt said. "You know your own body and it doesn't feel good; the doctors have the same feeling.
"They say I've probably torn ankle ligaments, so let's hope they're wrong."
