Liverpool heading back to the High Court on Thursday

The Liverpool takeover saga has taken yet another twist, with the club to return to the High Court on Thursday afternoon.
The path appeared clear for Reds chairman Martin Broughton to push through a sale after Mr Justice Floyd ruled against owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett over their bid to halt a deal with New England Sports Ventures.
John Henry, owner of NESV, arrived in London on Wednesday evening to rubber stamp the deal but minutes before signing the contracts, Hicks and Gillett won a restraining order in a Texas court to block the sale of the club.
Broughton has spoken of his confidence at being able to remove the restraining order and push through a deal and he and the Reds board will return before Justice Floyd on Thursday afternoon.
