Villa face Birmingham in Carling Cup quarters
Holders Manchester United face a trip to Upton Park to face Premier League strugglers West Ham, but the tie of the Carling Cup quarter-finals comes in the West Midlands as Birmingham host Aston Villa.
The Blues' last fixture with their rivals was fiery last season, with the two sides set to meet on Sunday for this season's first derby. Blues defender Roger Johnson was fined £5,000 for criticising match officials over the controversial penalty which earned Villa a 1-0 win, while Stephen Carr was given a one-match suspension for a gesture to the Villa fans.
Arsenal will look to continue their free-scoring form against an inconsistent Wigan side that beat them 3-2 at the end of last season, while the Championship's only representatives, Ipswich, landed a home tie against high-flying West Brom.
