Beckham warns Galaxy after Buddle snatches advantage

David Beckham has warned his team-mates of complacency after Los Angeles Galaxy put one foot in the Western Conference final with a 1-0 victory at Seattle Sounders.
After his goal last weekend clinched the Supporters' Shield for Galaxy Beckham played a key role once more in a hard-fought win at the Qwest Stadium. Edson Buddle's impressive long-range effort clinched the victory in the 38th minute, lobbing Sounders keeper Kasey Keller on the volley from 40 yards out.
Goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts was forced to make a number of crucial saves as Galaxy take a single goal advantage into the second leg next Sunday.
"We're happy with tonight. But this is far from over," Beckham said. "We now have to do a job at home."
A draw at the Home Depot Stadium on Sunday would seal Galaxy's place in the final, where they will meet the winners of the second semi-final between FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake, with the MLS Cup final being held in Toronto on November 21.
