Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie has revealed to ESPNsoccernet that the club have two potential new buyers and that the club are going for a knock down price of "nothing".

Indeed, ''nothing'' is now the official valuation of the club that have suffered more financial turmoil than any other Premier League club since the league was formed in 1992.

Storrie told Soccernet: "I have been talking to someone for some time, as you know, and now there is another party interested. I would expect a new owner in place shortly.

"It's certainly good value. The club will go for nothing. The new owner would, though, have to take on the debt, and excluding the money owed to Sacha Gaydamak, the debts are down to £25 million, and most of those are normal footballing debts."

Hong Kong-based businessman Balram Chainrai has revealed he has no interest in buying the club and Storrie explained: "He has come in to stabilise the situation and he wants to move it on as quickly as possible, and we are working on it, talking to interested parties."

Storrie was sidelined under the Al-Faraj regime, and almost walked out with Avram Grant when the players were being sold over their heads during the January transfer window. But, while Chainrai is in temporary control, Storrie is back running the club and will continue to search for new investment.
