Poyet not interested in Chelsea role

Brighton boss Gus Poyet has ruled himself out of the running to become Carlo Ancelotti's assistant at Chelsea.
The Blues controversially axed Ray Wilkins last week, leaving Ancelotti without an assistant. Paul Clement was sat alongside the Italian for the defeat to Sunderland on Sunday and the club's former academy boss is in the frame for the post.
Ancelotti is likely to assess a number of options before making a decision - but Chelsea legend Poyet will not be throwing his hat into the ring as he is enjoying life as a manager at Brighton.
"I have great affection for Chelsea, but I am a No. 1 now and there is no going back," Poyet told Sky Sports News. "I have enjoyed making decisions and do not want to be a No. 2 again."
Poyet moved into management in 2006 when taking an assistant role at Swindon and similar posts at Leeds and Tottenham followed, before being appointed manager at Brighton in 2009.
