Tomas Rosicky expects Nicklas Bendtner to remain at Arsenal despite indications he is struggling with his lack of first-team football.

In an interview in Denmark recently, Bendtner said he was "wasting [his] time on the bench" at Arsenal, prompting Arsene Wenger to tell the striker he would have to show patience.

Bayern Munich legend Franz Beckenbauer recently suggested the Bundesliga champions could consider a move for Bendtner, but Rosicky says he is confident he will stay at Emirates Stadium.

"Of course I believe he has a future at the club," he said in Ekstra Bladet. "I don't quite understand the question because he has been injured for a while, but obviously he has to be patient as [Marouane] Chamakh's playing well at the moment.

"It's difficult, because there's always competition for places at a club like Arsenal. We have three good strikers in Nicklas Bendtner, Robin van Persie and Chamakh. That's a good thing for the club, but obviously it is difficult for the players."
