Capello open to idea of winter World Cup

England coach Fabio Capello has put himself at odds with the Premier League powerbrokers by admitting the 2022 World Cup should be played in the winter.
Qatar was given the nod to host the World Cup in 12 years' time, but immediate concerns were raised about the searing temperatures in the Middle East state in the summer.
FIFA president Sepp Blatter floated the prospect of switching the event to the winter - which would in all probability force a Premier League shutdown of around two months - and Capello has given his support to the suggestion.
"It will not be easy for the players to stay all day in the hotel - you can't run around the hotel," Capello told the Daily Mirror while on a visit to Dubai. "It's a big problem, not only for the training. You have to spend the time, all the day in the hotel, you can't go around to relax, to do something different.
"When you stay together for a long time you need to relax to do something different, not only training or playing. That's why I think it would be a good idea to play in January or February."
