Boselli confirms Genoa switch

Wigan striker Mauro Boselli could be set to join Genoa on loan until the end of the season.

Boselli has struggled to make an impact at the DW Stadium since arriving in the summer for a reported £6.5 million from Estudiantes.

The Argentinian posted on Twitter in his native Spanish that he was set for a new challenge in the remaining months of the campaign.

''Six months at Genoa. I am very happy,'' Boselli said.

However Wigan insist that nothing has been confirmed and he remains their player, at least for the moment.
