Sunderland target Muntari wants Inter Milan exit

Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari is seeking a move away from the reigning European champions, which is likely to alert reported pursuers Tottenham and Sunderland.
According to the Nerazzurri's technical director Marcon Branca, Muntari, who has made just 12 appearances for Inter this season and with only one league start to his name, is looking to leave the San Siro in search of first-team football.
The former Udinese and Portsmouth player was originally signed by former Inter boss Jose Mourinho in 2008, but has failed to impress subsequent successors Rafa Benitez and now Leonardo.
"He has made himself available to leave as long as a team wants him and is interested in him," Branca said on Italian television. "He's a lad who is close to us, he's a good person even though sometimes he expresses opinions typical of someone who wants to play."
Muntari has been linked with a reunion with former Pompey boss Harry Redknapp at Tottenham and also Sunderland, though he stated earlier this week that he would only play for a London club if he moved back to the Premier League.
"If I have to leave Inter Milan, I'll go to London," Muntari said. "That is the only possibility." Bruce had been targeting a loan arrangement with Muntari.
