Blackburn complete loan signing of Jermaine Jones

Blackburn Rovers have completed their second loan signing of the January transfer window in the shape of Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones.
Jones, 29, has committed to Rovers until the end of the current season and joins Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz in reinforcing manager Steve Kean's squad in January.
Kean told the club's official website: "He's a fantastic signing for us. Anybody who knows him as a player, he's a natural ball winner, he's a very good passer as well. He's got a fantastic engine, he can go box-to-box, he's a genuine all round midfield player."
Jones, who represented Germany at youth level before winning his first senior international cap for United States in October 2010, has made ten Bundesliga starts for Schalke this season.
He started his professional career with hometown club Eintracht Frankfurt in 1995 and also spent an unproductive spell at Bayer Leverkusen before joining Schalke in 2007.
Blackburn are still awaiting international clearance but it is anticipated that Jones will be available to make his debut in the weekend's game against West Brom.
