Blackpool won't let Holloway quit

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston insists he will reject any offer of resignation from Ian Holloway after the club was fined £25,000 for fielding an under-strength side against Aston Villa in November.
Holloway claimed he would quit the Seasiders in protest should the club be punished for his decision to make ten changes to his side, which Blackpool lost 3-2.
"I'd pack in. I can't work for this madness," he said. "I would resign. They do not know what they're talking about.''
But following the Premier League's decision to fine Blackpool for violation of rules B13 and E20, Oyston insists Holloway will not be allowed to follow through on his threat.
"I've spoken to [Holloway] on the phone," Oyston said. "He's obviously disappointed but there's absolutely no question I would accept his resignation.
"We spoke about it briefly but that was a private conversation. Ian has breathed life back into this club and I'll cheer him up again."
