No Konchesky or Kranjcar for Fulham

Fulham will not be signing either Liverpool's Paul Konchesky or Tottenham's Niko Kranjcar in the January transfer window, according to manager Mark Hughes.
Konchesky has been linked with a return to Craven Cottage in recent weeks, despite only leaving west London for Anfield in the summer. Hughes confirmed that the club had held tentative negotiations about a move for the left-back this month, but believes a deal is now unlikely - although he did not rule out reviving discussions in the summer.
"There was an interest [in Konchesky] and there was discussion that was mooted but I don't think that's likely to progress, certainly not by the end of this window," Hughes said. "It is something that we may re-visit but it's not likely to be concluded [this month]."
Hughes also dismissed suggestions the club were looking to sign Kranjcar, with the Croatian believed to be available for transfer at White Hart Lane.
"We're not interested," Hughes said. "We've got a lot of midfield players - he's not a priority for us at the moment."
Hughes finally reiterated earlier reports that he had given up hope on a deal to sign Shaun Wright-Phillips from former club Manchester City - with time running out after the two clubs failed to reach an agreement.
"We expressed an interest in Shaun, it seems to have slowed in fairness in terms of being concluded and obviously we tried to make that happen but it seems to be less likely as the window closes for a number of reasons," Hughes said. "I'm not too hopeful in that regard."
