Everton prepare to swoop for Eagles

Burnley winger Chris Eagles could be set for a return to the Premier League after confirming he is the subject of interest from Everton.
Eagles did his chances of securing a deadline-day switch no harm with two goals against Burton Albion in Saturday's FA Cup win, and the former Manchester United man has been linked with both Bolton and the Toffees.
Everton boss David Moyes is believed to be willing to offer £4 million to replace Steven Pienaar, who has joined Tottenham, but Eagles is happy to stay clear of negotiations.
"You miss playing with the best players in the world," Eagles said. "Getting back into the Premier League is one of my aims and that is what I'd love to do. I don't know the full depth of Everton's interest, but I know that they want me and it is between the clubs really.
"I don't really want to get involved myself. I'll let them deal with it and whatever happens, happens. I'm just concentrating on this club and whenever I put the Burnley shirt on I'm happy and thanking the crowd for everything they do for me."
