Redknapp rules out Woodgate loan

Harry Redknapp has ruled out any possibility of Jonathan Woodgate heading out of Tottenham on loan and suggested the defender may be pressed into action in the near future.
Woodgate has made excellent progress from injury and only last week Spurs were contemplating sending the defender out on loan in a bid to secure some match sharpness. But those plans have been shelved on account of Younes Kaboul's knee injury and Michael Dawson picking up a three-game ban.
With a defensive crisis looming at White Hart Lane, Woodgate could be thrust into action after showing no ill effects from a recent run out for the reserves.
"Jonathan Woodgate is going to be pushed back into action quicker than we ever expected," Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "We have got to see how he is. Hopefully he has had no reaction and he could be available pretty quickly.
"He is a fantastic player. There is no chance of him going out on loan."
