Elmander warns of Bolton exit if contract talks stall

Johan Elmander has warned Bolton that he may not stay at the club once his current contract runs out.
Elmander, 29, has taken time to settle since his £8 million move from Toulouse in 2008, but has repaid the faith shown in him by netting ten goals already this season.
However, the Swede is out of contract in the summer and is already attracting the attention of Newcastle, who are keen to bolster their strikeforce in the next transfer window. And Elmander admits that he could move on if talks over an extension to his deal do not progress.
"I don't feel any obligation towards Bolton,'' he said. ''They [the club] have had the chance to do something about a new deal. We've had dialogue but not right now."
