Zamora on target for Fulham reserves

Bobby Zamora took a step closer to first-team action with a goal for Fulham reserves against Brighton on Tuesday.

The England striker has been out since breaking his leg against Wolves in September and is due to return to action in three weeks.

Fulham boss Mark Hughes warned Zamora last week he could not expect to walk straight into the first team, but the striker will undoubtedly caught Hughes' eye with a goal against his former club at the club's training ground in Surrey.

Recent results have seen Fulham rise to 12th in the Premier League, but have struggled for goals in the absence of the England striker, who netted 19 goals for the Cottagers last season.
