Shelvey set to miss rest of season

Liverpool's young midfielder Jonjo Shelvey will be sidelined for 12 weeks after suffering a knee tendon injury.
Shelvey, 18, was unable to represent England Under-20s against France on Wednesday evening due to the problem and is now likely to be absent until May.
He joined Liverpool from Charlton Athletic in the summer and has made nine appearances as a substitute in the Premier League, as well as starting four Europa League fixtures.
"I'm a bit down at the moment but I'm just hoping now I can come back stronger," Shelvey told the club's official website. "I am now going to take a 12-week rehabilitation and hopefully I'll be back soon."
