Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez would welcome a return to Brazil to play for his former club Corinthians, according to his agent.

Tevez handed in a transfer request at City a few months ago - which he later withdrew - and has repeatedly suggested that he could walk away from the game altogether. However his agent, Kia Joorabchian, maintains that the striker would like to head back to Brazil when he decides to end his time at Eastlands.

Tevez left Corinthians to join West Ham United in 2006 and now Joorabchian wants to bring him back to the club that he formerly owned.

"I want to help Corinthians in their sporting quest and I can guarantee that Carlos Tevez would be happy to return to Brazil and play for Corinthians," Joorabchian told TV Gazeta.

"Ideally I would like a deal to be done swiftly, but in reality it will probably take time. I also want to bring in three more players to make this the best club in the Americas. My desire would be to get Heurelho Gomes [Tottenham], Anderson [Manchester United] and Nilmar [Villarreal].

"Money will not be a problem. Carlos loves Brazil and I think this is all very feasible."
