Carlo Ancelotti claims he will not move for Real Madrid midfielder Kaka, and ruled out a swap deal with Didier Drogba, claiming such talk was 'fantasy football''.

Ancelotti has been linked with the former AC Milan midfielder, who has struggled to adapt to life in Spain, while Drogba is being repeatedly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after the £50 million purchase of Fernando Torres.

With Kaka potentially rejoining his old boss Ancelotti and Drogba returning to work under Jose Mourinho, it seems a match made in heaven, but the current Chelsea boss has played down such talk and distanced himself from reports linking him with other Milan stars.

"Will I ask [Roman] Abramovich for Kaka, Pato or Pirlo?" Ancelotti told La Repubblica. "We have already taken Ramires, Torres and David Luiz. The exchange of Kaka for Drogba is fantasy football."

Having spent £75 million in the January transfer window on two players Ancelotti also felt compelled to defend the club's spending, maintaining that they are focusing on the development of their young players.

He added: "I don't think that Chelsea have spent a lot in the last year. We added five players from the youth system instead of five with expensive salaries."
