Torres is 'a bargain' - Martinez

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has backed Fernando Torres to prove his worth to Chelsea before the end of the season.
Torres has failed to live up to his £50 million price tag since joining from Liverpool in January, and is still searching for his first goal in a blue shirt.
His latest disappointing performance came in the Champions League match with Manchester United on Wednesday, when he faded badly after making a lively start.
And although Torres may not make the starting XI for this weekend's visit of Wigan, Martinez is talking up his countryman's talent. "There have been a lot of things said about Fernando Torres but it is quite clear he is going to be a fantastic signing," he said.
"I feel he is going to become a bargain for Chelsea. It is always difficult to move from one club to another halfway through the season.
"He is still settling in and still adapting to a new football club but Fernando Torres is one of the best strikers in European football and that is a real asset to have."
