Avram Grant to investigate West Ham bust-up

West Ham manager Avram Grant will seek to get to the bottom of a mid-game bust-up between Robert Green and Mark Noble during their disappointing 3-0 loss at Bolton.
West Ham goalkeeper Green and midfielder Noble clashed after Daniel Sturridge scored Bolton's opener in the first half, with stern words between the pair evolving into a physical encounter before skipper Matthew Upson stepped in to separate them.
With relegation looming for the Hammers the pressure is rising on Grant's players and, although the manager could see the incident as a positive sign that his men care about the cause, he will still speak to the players this week to sort out any issues.
Grant said: "I do not know about it. I need to speak them. At half-time all we spoke about was trying to change the game.''
Elsewhere on Saturday, Tottenham right-back Vedran Corluka was involved in a verbal confrontation with one of his own fans who blasted him for failing to run the clock down in injury time as they ran out 3-2 winners over Stoke at home.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp said: "I didn't see it. I wanted him to stick it into the corner for Gareth Bale but it didn't work. Players have to be careful in the current climate. I'll speak to Corluka about it, but I don't understand why fans want to give one of their own players stick.''
