Fletcher and Vermaelen back for reserves

Darren Fletcher came through a run out for Manchester United's reserves on Thursday but will not rush to make a first-team return.
Scotland international Fletcher has been sidelined for the last couple of months with a virus but is now fit and well and played 45 minutes for the reserves after proving his fitness in training.
After the clash with Arsenal's second string, Fletcher emerged with a positive yet cautious assessment of his well-being.
"It's great to be back playing football again," he said. "I don't want to rush it but I hope to give the manager another option towards the end of the season."
Also on the comeback trail at Old Trafford was Thomas Vermaelen, with the Arsenal defender getting through the full 90 minutes as he bids to return to the side before the end of the season.
